Grounds Committee

The grounds committee is responsible for the care and maintenance of all TLIA property.

The Grounds Committee uses the 2019 TLIA Long Range Plan information to guide projects. That maintenance includes urban forest management, beach and shoreline, eight boat landings, tennis court, volleyball court, three community island parks, and twelve neighborhood parks. The committee works closely with The Village of Tower Lakes on stormwater management and forestry issues.

Grounds Beautification, managed by Pat Covek, provides improvements to our entrance ways, shrub and flower plantings, lakeshore beds, and raised gardens. In addition, landscapers are utilized to provide spring cleanup of public areas.

Each year the Grounds Committee organizes a spring and fall Volunteer Day dedicated to special projects for ground improvements in the parks, forestry, or the island park areas. All residents are encouraged to contribute to this effort.

The committee is always looking for volunteers to help with projects in the Village.
