Beach
Calling All LifeGuards!
If you are interested in working as a lifeguard this summer at the Tower Lakes Beach, e-mail beach@tlia.org and request an application.
The Beach Committee will send an application to each candidate and schedule interviews for March. All applicants must have or be working toward getting their Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
The Beach Committee is always looking for new members, too! E-mail beach@tlia.org and let us know you're interested!

New Residents!
Recently, we welcomed some wonderful new neighbors to Tower Lakes.
Mike & Chris Zgoba

Mike and Chris moved to North Lake from Barrington Hills. Mike is a dentist in Fox River Grove and Chris is the office manager. They have three grown daughters, two living in Milwaukee and Chicago, and the third teaching in District #220. Mike and Chris love woodworking and gardening. Say hello when you walk by!
Jonathan & Alexa Terry

Jonathan and Alexa have had an exciting journey to Tower Lakes! While they are originally from the Chicago area, they lived in Oakland, California for some time. Jonathan and Alexa decided to convert a school bus into a tiny house and travel the southwestern part of the United States and up the east coast. They had visited Alexa’s brother here in Tower Lakes and decided this is where they want to live. They both enjoy practicing the martial art of muay thai, travel, hiking, paddle boarding, and cooking. They are looking forward to checking out the neighborhood and getting involved in Tower Lakes activities.
We also extend a warm welcome to the following Tower Lakes residents. Though not members of TLIA, you certainly may see them around the neighborhood:

Cuba Township Paper Shred Event
Saturday, April 9th, 2022
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (or until truck is full.)
Location: The Cuba Township Road District (Blue farmhouse.)
Limit 4 paper bags per vehicle. The event is limited to Cuba Township residents. When the Shred-It truck is full, the shred event will end. Try to arrive early!

Murder Mystery Event
Join us for an interactive whodunit murder mystery event where the killer could be anyone around you…or is it you?
Date: Saturday, March 19th, 2022
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Moretti’s in Barrington (128 Wool St.)
Cost: $45 per person
A heavy appetizer buffet is included, and there will be a cash bar.

Annual Spring Native Plant, Shrub & Tree Sale
Online orders for Citizens for Conservation’s annual Spring Native Plant, Shrub & Tree Sale begins Tuesday, March 1st, and ends on April 17th. Pickup dates for online orders and the in-person sale will be May 6th and 7th at the barns area of Good Shepherd Hospital.
Tower Lakes Spring Clean-up
Saturday, April 23rd
Please join us in helping to clean up different areas of our community. It is a great opportunity to get to know your neighbors while working to beautify our village.
Meet at the Beach Parking Lot at 8:00 a.m. Lunch will follow at noon for volunteers.

Order Your 2022 Member Tags and Boat Decals
Many Tower Lakers have already taken advantage by ordering their 2022 member tags and boat decals online. To get yours, please click the convenient order button below:
Orders will be ready on or after April 1st, 2022. Once you are in the system and have paid your dues, you will receive a package with your member tags and boat decals. Don’t delay, even though Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, spring is still right around the corner!

Don’t forget to bring your kids’ baskets and, of course, cameras!
0-4 yr olds – Toy Island
5-7 yr olds – Play Island
8+ yr olds – Rest Island
Do you have children participating? Please help out the Easter Bunny by dropping off 12 pre-filled eggs PER CHILD at one of the following homes no later than April 8th:
